I am currently a PhD student at U.T. Dallas, working under the supervision of Dr. Sanda Harabagiu alongside my husband Gabriel and my friends. I work in the Computer Science department, Human Language Technology Research Institute.

My professional interest is Natural Language Processing. I have so far received my Master's degree in Coreference Resolution.

I am a native Romanian and I have been in the United States since August 2003. I have two cats, both rescued from a shelter nearby. Or, more accurately, they have me.

In my spare time I learn freestyle skating at Dr. Pepper Star Center and I volunteer at an animal shelter. I also work on an original science-fiction/adventure novel.
