Daniel Worlton's Homepage

Biography

As an undergraduate, Daniel joined the Human Language Technology Research Insitute in May 2004 under the direction of Dr. Sanda Harabagiu. In May 2005, he earned a B.S. in Computer Science, Summa cum Laude. He is currently working to complete a second B.S. in Cognitive Science (May 2006). Furthermore, he is concurrently enrolled in UTD's Master's Program for Computer Science

Daniel is currently researching paraphrases.

Daniel has yet to publish anything, but as part of the requirements for graduating with honors, he has completed an honor's thesis entitled "A Computational Approach to Paraphrase Recognition".

Daniel is the president of the UT Dallas Quiz Bowl team.

Daniel played on the UT Dallas Rugby Team.

Daniel also qualifies as a road warrior due to a recent Great American Road Trip.
