By visiting our Web site at http://www.hlt.utdallas.edu you will learn about our wide range of leading-edge R & D Projects.

The main goal of the Human Language Technology Research Institute (HLTRI) is to stimulate and foster research in the area of Human Language Technology, comprising Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Automatic Speech Recognition and Synthesis, and to increase the visibility and reputation of UTD as a place of excellence in HLT research. At HLTRI, we are set to build a first class research group by tackling some of the most important research problems in Human Language Technology.

The HLTRI is part of the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science. The HLTRI provides a rich environment in which graduate students learn and work with faculty and technical staff on supported research for both government and corporate funders.
